Ahoy there, Sara. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to sail by with your questions for us. I’m thrilled that you’ll be sailing on a Disney cruise in a couple of months! Your May sailing will be here before you know it!
I’m sorry to hear you were unable to book the onboard activities you wanted. I have noticed people may snag many activities when the booking window opens to “hang on to”. As the sailing approaches, people tend to change their minds and cancel some of their previously booked activities. I recommend checking on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App often because activities do open up.
There is usually a Facebook group that is specific to your sailing which you can request to join. These private groups are created by fellow sailors and not affiliated with
Disney Cruise Line. However, people often post when they cancel onboard activities or port adventures so that others who are interested can reserve.
If you are still unable to reserve the onboard activities you want prior to Embarkation Day, you can try once you’re onboard. For example, if you’re hoping to dine at Palo for dinner, you can try speaking with the Dining Team once you’re aboard on Embarkation Day; be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see where the Dining Team will be located on the first day for requests to be made. The
adult exclusive dining venues typically set aside additional tables for last minute reservations.
I hope you’ll have a magical sailing in May. If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to stop by
planDisney again.
Bon voyage,
Kiki
