Hiya Marissa! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in the works!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Although we don't really like to think about the chance of vacation plans needing to be changed, it's smart to know what our options might be in case it does happen. Good idea.
I'm happy to share that you can change your
park reservation dates at any time, and as often as you like, if there is availability and your ticket hasn't yet expired. You'll need to actually cancel the initial reservation you made and then book a new one. You can do this in either the
Disneyland app (from the ☰, select "Park Reservations" under Plan My Next Visit) or on the
Disneyland website by clicking "
Make or Modify Park Reservations." Easy!
Be aware that, depending on what ticket type you purchased, there may be some limitations or a price difference. For example, if the new date is a higher-priced day than your original date, you will need to pay the difference or if you bought a one-day ticket, you’ll need to stay within the same tier or pay an additional amount to go up to a higher tier.
I'm so excited for your upcoming visit! If you have some flexibility on dates, Marissa, you may want to consider visiting California Adventure Park sometime between January 23 and February 22, 2026 to experience the bright and beautiful festivities of
Lunar New Year and
Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession, especially if you are a fan of parades! It's my very favorite! Seeing it at sunset too is dazzling.
As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, don't hesitate to come back and
ask us another question! We'd love to share more of our tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe where to find the best Disneyland snacks or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities.
See you real soon!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
