Hi Claire!
Welcome back to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I'm happy to help with this question.
Disney Buses are available from Disney Springs at the Gateway adjacent to Town Center to all Disney Resort hotels. They run approximately every 20 minutes. If you are visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks, a direct transport service is available from all Disney Resort hotels.
Complimentary transport is available to all guests to take you around the Resort. From
Disney's BoardWalk, you are within easy walking distance of EPCOT's Iternational Gateway entrance, from where you can also access the
Disney Skyliner. This is a lovely way to travel - high above the resort - giving you easy transfer to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and some other Resort hotels along the route. Buses will take you from Disney's BoardWalk to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Disney's BoardWalk offers several restaurant choices and evening entertainment to keep you amused. Sitting lakeside, enjoying your morning coffee while watching the FriendShip Boats go by is a lovely start to the day. You are also a short stroll around Crescent Lake from Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts with their own lovely selection of restaurants - my favourites are Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner and Cape May Cafe for breakfast (Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast, with Minnie Mouse and friends). On my 'to do" list is
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for the infamous 'Kitchen Sink' - I've attached a Beach Club Resort video hosted by two of my planDisney friends - Amy & Matt - where they show you a good look at this huge dessert!
Please come back if you have any further questions, and
you can send me a direct question if you wish. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World!
Sue
