How often do buses run from the All-Star resorts to/from the parks vs hotels that are closer to MK? We're trying to decide if saving $ on the hotel is outweighed by the longer travel to the parks or potentially longer waits to catch a bus? Thanks!

Hi Jennifer!  The Value resorts are typically the ones that are the furthest from the parks. However, they all have bus transportation that will leave every 15 to 20 minutes just as the other resorts have. The difference is that the trip might take a bit longer because of the distance.

I feel the biggest difference is that you are always relying on the busses to get wherever you need to go. When you stay at the Deluxe resorts you can either walk or monorail or boat to some of the parks which is a nice option. Because every guest must take a bus these busses running from the Values can be more crowded during busy times.

If you take the step up to the Moderate resorts you will find that the location is a bit closer but that isn't what you are gaining. What you will see are more amenities with the resort such as queen beds in some, pool slides and better themeing, more dining options, and some recreation choices such as boating.  To bump up to the Deluxe gives you the most amenities that include location, top pools, table service dining options, queen beds, recreation choices and more.

Think about how much time you think you will spend at your resort. If you feel you will be in the parks all day then the resort choice can be made by the economics of what is available. If you feel you wish to have a resort where you can spend some time at then look for those that have the options for what you would like to do away from the parks.
