How often do buses run from the airport? Are there any buses that run park to park for parkhoppers? Also how early do the buses pick up at resorts for a park with extra magic morning hours? Xmmhours are great!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kendra! Extra Magic Hours are my favorite benefit of being a Disney Resort Hotel guest and I think you’ll be able to enjoy them to the max during your visit this October!

Disney’s Magical Express is the hardest working mode of transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Did you know that it runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year? It’s always there to pick us up from the airport and whisk us away to the happiest place on earth! It takes about 45 minutes to get to the resort areas from the airport and buses are constantly running to all 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

To use Bus Transportation to get from one theme park to another, simply go back to the Ticket and Transportation Center at the park you’re currently visiting and follow the signage to the bus lot. Those signs will tell you where all buses are going. Whether you are trying to get back to your resort or “hop” over to another theme park for more adventures, that’s where you will find your ride!

Buses start running 45 minutes before the earliest theme park opening time. For example, if scheduled Extra Magic Hours begin at 7:00 a.m., you can be at the bus stop at your Disney Resort hotel at 6:15 a.m. to get a ride to the theme park offering those magical hours.

A great new feature on your My Disney Experience app gives you approximate bus arrival times! You can access this feature by tapping the “See Bus Times” when you’re viewing an active Disney Resort hotel reservation associated with your account.

Kendra, I hope this information is helpful to you as you’re trying to figure out the logistics of your stay. Come back to see us soon!
