My offsite hotel has a bus to epcot that arrives 1/2 hour before the Magic Kingdom opens. Can I ride the monorail from epcot to the TTC before both parks open in the morning? How long does it take? Also, how long to get from the TTC to the MK gates?

Hi Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The monorail is my favorite mode of transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Even my kids try to say "Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas" along with the voice message on the monorail. It is a great way to travel!

All Guests visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" are welcome to ride the monorail. The time the Epcot Monorail begins running each day depends on Epcot's operating hours, but it usually begins by 8:00 A.M. and my family has taken it earlier than that before.

Once you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you will need to exit the monorail and either transfer to the Express Monorail that heads to Magic Kingdom Park, or the ferryboat. The amount of time that this will take varies depending on how long you have to wait for each mode of transportation to arrive, but I would estimate 30-45 minutes total from when you arrive at Epcot to when you end at Magic Kingdom Park's entrance.

I hope this helps, Laura! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
