We are officially 1 month away from our girls' (9,5,1) 1st trips to WDW! Its still a surprise and we dont plan on telling them until we are very close(they think we are going to Destin hehe). Would love some ideas on how to finally tell them! Thanks!

Oh Sara, you must be so excited!  I'm very impressed if you will be able to keep such a big, magnificent secret for another whole month.  Just think of the expressions on your daughters' faces when you make the big reveal.  You better plan to have a video camera rolling to capture the moment!

There are plenty of great ways to disclose your magical destination.  You could wait until you go under the Walt Disney World welcome sign.  Simply point up to the impressive, unmistakeable sign and say, "hey, that's not Destin."  Or, you could wrap up Disney autograph books for each of your girls and hand them to them as you get closer to the parks.  Tell them that this little gift is something they'll need for the days ahead.  Another option is to note that the driver appears to be a bit off course.  Hand them a map and ask them to help figure out which direction you are going.  On the map, circle Lake Buena Vista and put a Mickey sticker at your destination.  Whichever option you decide, plan to have some ear plugs on hand for the driver because I estimate that there will be a whole lot of squealing going on.

    Have fun!!!
