hi! we officially booked our 2 week Orlando vacation! 6 days are going to be spent at WDW, we would like to know what parks have the best shows, we do have a park hopper so can do 2 different parks one of those 6 days for shows only, what do you think?

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to planDisney, David. We just love when you stop by! You can count on us to answer all your Disney vacation planning questions.

I love absolutely everything about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation - immersive attractions, incredible food, delightful Character interactions, you name it! What I love the most, though, are the many entertainment offerings found in the theme parks. I'm sorry to tell you that all four theme parks have can't-miss shows. You'll certainly have a hard time picking what performances to catch! Let's chat about my top entertainment recommendations.

At Magic Kingdom Park, you won't want to miss Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. This parade typically runs in the afternoon, but check the daily Times Guide for updated showtimes. You also don't want to miss Disney Enchantment! This nighttime spectacular is the perfect way to end a day of pixie-dusted adventures in Magic Kingdom Park.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is home to two of my favorite shows; Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! These shows are totally Broadway-worthy. Both offer showtimes through the morning and afternoon, so you could absolutely catch both in a single visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, my family loves Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, and Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage. Again, there are multiple performance times for each of these shows through the morning and afternoon, so catching them is easy. Oh! And you absolutely must see Fantasmic! while you're at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This beloved nighttime spectacular has just been reimagined with new and exciting scenes.

Lastly, there are lots of show-centric experiences to be had at EPCOT too. One of the extra cool things about entertainment offerings at EPCOT is that you can catch cultural performances all day long through World Showcase! I saw in one of your previous questions that you'll be visiting in the Spring. That's the perfect time to catch the Garden Rocks Concert Series at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! EPCOT also has a must-see nighttime spectacular - Harmonious. The score is just incredible and moves me to tears every time.

I wish I could give you only a handful of shows to see during your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, but there's just too many to recommend! I suggest taking a bit of time to explore the Shows and Fireworks listings on the Attractions and Entertainment page of the Walt Disney World Resort website. Check out what most interests you and make those shows your priorities!

I hope this was helpful, David. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
