    Is there going to be an Official Disney World app for the iPad available soon? I see there is one for the iPhone and there is a Disneyland app for the iPad. We're going in May and I hoped there would be one available by then.

    The release of the official Disney apps for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland have certainly brought cheers from the i-world!

    The development of the official Walt Disney World app for the iPad is likely, although not guaranteed. Some have speculated that it is development right now, but in order to make it as content-rich as its sister Disneyland app, more time is essential; Walt Disney World is, after all, considerably larger and itself more feature-filled than its sister Park in California.

    Another detail affecting development is the Fantasyland expansion. While it could be that a Walt Disney World iPad app is in the works, engineers are working closely with Parks experts to ensure that only the most current, accurate, and available Fantasyland expansion information is available to offer the public.

    Your safest bet is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. That's your best official source for breaking news on all things Disney; with multiple updates daily as needed, you'll be among the first to know.
