What do u officer for military discount thanks

    Hiya Philip,

Welcome to planDisney! First, let me say thank you so much for your service. As the child of a retired United States Air Force Colonel, I know that family vacations are so essential, and Walt Disney World Resort is such a magical place to spend a family vacation. I am happy to discuss all things military discounts.

Walt Disney World Resort offers Eligible Service Members and their Spouses the ability to purchase Disney Military Salute Tickets (and discount Memory Maker) from their local duty station or through Shades of Green. These specially priced tickets are a fantastic way to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Please note that to be eligible for these tickets, you must be either active duty military, reservists, retired veterans (with 20+ years of service), and/or 100% total and permanent, service-connected disabled veterans. The other option is that you would need to be a spouse of one of the eligible individuals. If any of these apply to you, you will need to have valid military identification at the time of purchase and time of use of the Disney Military Salute Tickets to utilize the Theme Park Tickets.

If you or your spouse are eligible to purchase Disney Military Salute Tickets, you can buy up to six Disney Military Salute Theme Park tickets per year. I know that I mentioned that you could purchase Disney Military Salute Tickets from your local duty station, but I highly recommend purchasing through Shades of Green if you can. One of my fellow panelists and military spouses, Michelle D., recommends purchasing tickets through Shades of Green because they arrive already activated and ready to be used, saving you valuable time waiting in line at Guest Services. No matter how you choose to purchase the Theme Park tickets, just be sure to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account after they arrive and make Disney Park Pass Reservations for your visit in advance of your vacation. Currently, you need both valid Theme Park tickets and Disney Park Pass Reservations to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park, and they are limited. Making Park Pass Reservations in advance will ensure that you can visit the Theme Parks you want on the days that you want.

If you need more help, please come back and see us, Philip. We want you to have the most magical vacation, so we are always here.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
