Will you be offering opportunities to have a personalized brick on walkways at Disney World?

    Hey there, Kris!

A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your wondEARful question about the commemorative bricks at Magic Kingdom Park and the Transportation & Ticket Center.

Kris, in 2019, bricks from “Disney’s Walk Around the World” near Magic Kingdom Park and the Transportation & Ticket Center were finally discontinued. These bricks were sold from 1995 until the end of the year 2000, with a minimum 10-year guarantee. Ultimately, many families were able to enjoy their bricks for nearly 20 years before they were removed to allow for exciting improvements to walkways and tram loading and unloading zones!

Currently, there are no plans in place to bring the sales of these bricks back to Walt Disney World Resort. However, if you would like to purchase a commemorative paver to display at home, it is possible to do so on shopDisney!

Currently, there are 6-inch and 8-inch commemorative legacy pavers available to be customized on the shopDisney website. These legacy pavers are available for all Guests, whether or not they owned an original “Disney’s Walk Around the World” brick.

Kris, I hope I have helped answer your question. If you have any additional questions, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you!
