Hi there, Kari!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so devastated about the recent fire that affected so many people in Northern California. I can't even imagine to begin what so many of you must be going through during this time of rehabilitation and recovery. During rough times like this, a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth does sound like it could help boost everyone's spirits.
While specific discounts for firefighters are not offered at this time, there is actually a fantastic
limited-time ticket promotion happening right now that allows you to visit the parks for as little as $70 a day. This special offer is available online from now until May 23, 2019 (with blockout dates April 14 through April 22, 2019). This is one of the best offers I have seen for park tickets to the general public.
If a firefighter is in your family, they must stop by the old-fashioned Fire Department located in Town Square of Disneyland Park. This has been a Disneyland Park staple since opening day. Walt Disney himself even had a private apartment located right above this fire station. During some morning and early afternoon hours you can also ride in the
Fire Engine that has been traveling down Main Street, U.S.A since 1958. My son loves ringing the bell.
I hope this information was helpful, and I know you will create some magical memories with your family during this difficult time. Please return if you have any other questions.
