Hello, Are you still offering to apply the the cost of an existing ticket to the purchase of a magic key? If so, is there an option to do this and set-up the monthly payments for the remaining cost if you are a CA resident.

    Hello Debra,

It's wonderful to see you here with us at planDisney! It's also wonderful to see you're planning to join the Disneyland Resort Magic Key Program. With all the cool features and benefits and all the discounts on shopping and dining that a Magic Key Pass offers, you're sure to find a Magic Key Pass that's a good fit for your Disneyland Resort visits.

I'm happy to share that if you're a California resident looking to upgrade an eligible Disneyland Resort theme park ticket to a Magic Key Pass, you can upgrade and choose a monthly payment option as your method of payment.

There are a few types of theme park tickets that would not be eligible to upgrade to a Magic Key Pass. Tickets that would not be eligible to upgrade to a Magic Key Pass include tickets that are fully used, or partially used and expired, as well as tickets for special events. California Resident promotional tickets are also not eligible to upgrade to a Magic Key Pass.

Debra, here's wishing you lots of wonderful fun when you visit the Disneyland Resort as a Magic Key Holder!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
