Do you offer veteran discounts that would be for a 3 day trip? I saw that there is some for 4-5 days but I would not be able to do that.

    Hi Lily!

Welcome to planDisney! It's my pleasure to help a fellow Texan AND a fellow Military family!

Oh boy! I love that you're thinking of visiting Mickey's original house! Disneyland Resort was my home away from home while my family was stationed in Southern California. The 3 and 4-day military tickets that you're referring to are the Disneyland Military Park Hopper Promotional Tickets. These passes are only available to those who are currently Active Duty, Reserve/Guard, Fully Retired, and those with a 100% service-connected Disability as they do need to be validated against a Military ID both at the time of purchase as well as the first use.

There are, however, Disneyland Theme Park Admission Tickets sold at a discount on U.S. Military Bases/Posts/Installations that all Veterans do qualify to purchase. And best of all, these are sold in any increment of days from 1 through 5 that you'd like, with or without the Park Hopper add-on. To purchase these passes, your best bet is to Google the ticket offices of the military bases in your area first to see if they are carried locally (not all bases sell them) as well as get the price. If you find a base that does have them, call the ticket office first to ask if they have any on hand, can print them on demand, or if they have to order them first. (Can you tell I've purchased Disney tickets all the different ways?) If you are having zero luck in finding Disneyland tickets in Texas, you could always reach out to the Travel and Ticket office at Camp Pendleton in California as they are rumored to sell them over the phone.

Pro Tip: In my experience, the discount on 2 or 3-day tickets isn't that great. However, the 1-day ticket is almost a third off of the price listed on the Disneyland.com ticket website. It might be worth it to sEARch for discounted tickets elsewhere, like through Target.com or any memberships you might have, like Costco or AAA.

I hope that this helped to pack some fun Disney days into your summer, Lily! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account where we share all kinds of tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
