Do you offer any type of discount for 1/2 day admission to the Magic Kingdom while in port during a cruise?

    Hi Terri!

Welcome to planDisney!  Any time spent a Magic Kingdom Park is certainly a great day!  I love that feeling of nostalgia that overwhelms me each time I enter the park - it's like being wrapped in a warm hug.  With so many rides, attractions, and entertainment options to explore, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Terri, unfortunately, Walt Disney World Resort does not offer partial day tickets through their website.  You may want to check directly with your cruise line to see if they have any excursions offered which may include transportation and admission to the parks.  If you're sailing with Disney Cruise Line and hoping to turn your cruise vacation into a Land & Sea package, you can call Disney Cruise Line directly or speak with your travel agent about adding hotel accommodations, tickets, and transportation to or from the port.

If you do find yourself in Magic Kingdom Park this summer and are trying to squeeze a lot of fun into a small amount of time, I recommend purchasing the Disney Genie+ service.  This is available for purchase each night beginning at midnight on the My Disney Experience Mobile App.  Once purchased, you can start making Lightning Lane entry selections at 7:00 AM to enjoy skipping the line for some of your must-do attractions!  The amount of Lightning Lane entries you can use in a day is not limited by Disney but will vary based on how busy the parks are and how many people have purchased Genie+.  You can also try to access the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for TRON or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to also make the most of your day.

There is also plenty of Disney magic beyond the theme parks.  With just a few hours to spend at Walt Disney World Resort, you could enjoy a character meal at Chef Mickey's, play a round of miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf, or do a monorail tour of Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  If you opt to take the monorail to visit some of the properties, be sure to visit Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian.  Inspired by Disney's Beauty and the Beast, it's a beautiful space to enjoy a drink and relax for a bit!

Terri, I hope that you enjoy a wonderful cruise and are able to spend some time at Magic Kingdom Park as well!  If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, please feel free to stop by and see me or any of my pals here at planDisney again!
