Hi Kay, welcome to planDisney!
You'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the very merry month of May. The
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom; my best tip is to literally stop and smell the flowers before and after experiencing the mind-blowing
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction.
Disney does not currently provide transportation for
Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests to and from Orlando International Airport. Even without Tinkerbell's pixie dust or Aladdin's magic carpet, I can assure you there are plenty of safe and comfortable ways to get you, your party, and your luggage where you need to be. A large list of ground transportation options can be found on the
Orlando International Airport website, but I'll share my personal top three with you now.
1. Mears Connect offers a similar service to Disney's Magical Express, which was discontinued on January 1, 2022. There is a cost per person, which can be arranged for one-way or round trip transport in advance. After getting your luggage at baggage claim, you'll meet your motor coach on the ground level of terminal B.
2. Sunshine Flyer is another motorcoach service that takes Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests to and from Orlando International Airport. My son is a huge fan of this service because the buses look like old-fashioned locomotives.
3. Rideshare services such as Lyft and Uber can be booked through their respective apps. I typically book my ride from the airport as soon as I have my luggage in hand and I pre-schedule my ride back to the airport. At this time, Disney's Minnie Van service, requested through the Lyft app, is not available for airport transportation.
All modes of transportation lead to a magical vacation. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
