Ahoy there, Christina! Thanks for jumping on board planDisney with your question!
Christina, my son celebrated his 9th birthday on board the
Disney Wonder last year, so this question is close to my heart and I hope I can offer up a few suggestions to help in your celebration planning!
First, make sure to
note your special occasion on your reservation. To do this, log into your Disney Cruise Line account and then hover over "Already Booked" at the top until you see, "My Reservations." When you click on "My Reservations," you'll be taken to a separate page. Scroll down until you see, "Special Requests." Click on "Make Special Requests." From there you can click on "Celebrations" and you'll have the choice to indicate whether you'll be celebrating a retirement, birthday, graduation, reunion, engagement, honeymoon, or anniversary during your sailing. This will alert the staff that you have a special day! When we were on the Disney Wonder, our stateroom attendant built my son a birthday cake out of towels. It was unexpected and completely adorable! We still talk about it to this day. Now, while I can't guarantee what pixie dust might be in store for you, I have a feeling that you'll be smiling extra on that day.
Christina, another way to add extra pixie dust to your special occasion is through the
Onboard Gifts (available for purchase). You can browse what is available based on your reservation number or port of departure. You can purchase in-room decor, cakes and more!
Christina, I hope this helps stir up a little extra excitement in anticipation of your trip. There isn't anything quite as Magical as celebrating something special with Mickey and the gang. No matter what occasion you're marking, I hope it's a wonderful day. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
Wishing you fair winds and following seas,
Lauren
