Greetings, Cindy, and welcome to planDisney!
The
Autumn season is ever so magical at Walt Disney World Resort, and offers a myriad of experiences for all the senses - my favorite being the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival - a true tour through six Continents featuring authentic global marketplaces, culinary dishes, entertainment and more!
Cindy,
Walt Disney World Resort strives to offer all Guests an array of dietary and culinary options to best accommodate unique needs, and in fact, many quick and table-service venues do accommodate Guests who have specific food allergies and food intolerances by offering allergy-friendly menus and guides. I find it helpful to speak with the chef on staff, or a Cast Member trained in special diets when I arrive at the restaurant. They really go out of their way, and in our case, we were taken on an informative tour of the buffet area for awareness towards selections.
While I am enamored with all
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, I must admit that those along the
Magic Kingdom Monorail Route are all delightful, with iconic views of Cinderella Castle, and proximity to Magic Kingdom Park. If I had to choose, it would be Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort - great fun for Guests of all ages!
The
BoardWalk Area is between two theme parks, EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and offers the conveniently located
BoardWalk Area Resort hotels - I also love that area, a vacation destination all on its own, in my opinion!
Cindy, keep watch over the evolving
special offers over on the disneyworld.disney.go.com site and look for these offers under the “Places to Stay” tab on the main page.
