Hi there Carol, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
One perk of being neighbors of the Walt Disney World Resort is the opportunity to buy multi-day tickets at a discounted price. Florida Resident 3- or 4-Day Tickets offer a great way to sample the fun before you go all-in for an Annual Pass. You can visit the same Theme Park 3 or 4 times if you like, or try a different Theme Park for each day of your ticket. You'll have 6 months to use up all your days, so it gives you plenty of time to plan some pixie-dusted fun.
If you decide an Annual Pass is for you, the possibilities are plentiful! Florida Residents can choose from the following Annual Pass options:
- Disney Platinum Plus Pass
- Disney Platinum Pass
- Disney Gold Pass
- Disney Silver Pass
- Disney Weekday Select Pass
- Epcot After 4 Pass
For my family, the Disney Silver Pass works best. It's an affordable option that allows us to visit any Theme Park, or hop between Theme Parks, almost any time we want - and now it also includes our parking! This Pass does include blockout dates around the busy seasons of Easter, summer and the Christmas holidays. If you opt to go Gold, you'll have all of the above benefits, plus free PhotoPass downloads. Passes at Platinum and above have no blockout dates and a few other perks.
At this time, there are no Florida Resident discounts available for single-day Theme Park admission. Whichever option you choose, your admission will include most parades and shows during regular Park hours.
I hope this helps you decide which Annual Pass option works best for your family, Carol. Please stop by and see us again if we can answer any more questions for you. Wishing you lots of fun Disney days ahead!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
