Hello and Welcome, Venus. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I think you'll be happy to know that you are actually able to make payments towards a
Walt Disney World vacation package. However, this option is only for vacation packages like a resort hotel stay and tickets booked together. This does not apply to just a resort hotel stay or just theme park tickets. When you book your vacation package, you'll be required to put a $200.00 deposit down to secure your reservation. The balance for your vacation package is due, paid in full, 45 days prior to your trip. Between the time you book your vacation and the 45 days before your check-in, you are able to
make payments towards your vacation any way that you'd like. The minimum payment to be made is $20.00 but you can pay anything over that once a week, once a month or even just a big lump sum payment right before your balance is due. I really appreciate the flexibility of this because sometimes things do come up. You'll just have to budget out whatever works best for you financially.
Once your vacation is booked, you'll be able to manage your payments through your
MyDisneyExperience account. If you'd rather speak to someone over the phone when making payments you can also do this by calling (407) 939-7675 and a representative will be happy to assist you.
The holidays are coming up and a nice gift to ask for is
Disney Gift Cards from your friends and family. I like to ask for them for my birthday and over holidays. Disney Gift Cards are sold at most major retails are come in low dollar amounts making them a perfect gift. Disney Gift Cards can be used to pay down the balance of your Walt Disney World vacation package and that is what I like to use mine for. Instead of typing in your credit card information for one payment, you'll just use the Disney Gift Card information instead.
I hope this helps, Venus. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have a great day!
