Hi there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney. Celebrating a honeymoon at The Happiest Place on Earth truly sounds like a fairytale come to life! From enchanting dining experiences to unforgettable core memories shared together, there are so many ways to make your visit feel extra special and uniquely yours.
While Disneyland Resort does not offer official honeymoon packages or specials, there are plenty of ways to sprinkle pixie dust throughout your celebration. One wonderful way to immerse yourself in the magic is by staying on property. Whenever I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian Hotel, it always felt like an extra dose of magic added to my visit. Currently, Guests can save up to 25% on select stays at Disneyland Resort hotels, so I recommend checking back on the
Offers & Discounts page of the Disneyland Resort website to see what aligns with your travel dates.
When my husband and I honeymooned at
Aulani in O'ahu, Hawaii, relaxation was at the top of our list. We booked a massage at Laniwai Spa, and it's still one of our favorite memories to look back on. If you're staying at Grand Californian Hotel, you can relax the Disney way at
Tenaya Stone Spa. From soothing treatments like the Tenaya River Stone Massage to wellness offerings such as sunrise yoga in Disneyland Park, it's a lovely way to recharge or ease into your park days.
While you're exploring the parks, be sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure Park to pick up complimentary celebration buttons. Wearing them is a fun way to display your love and often leads to extra smiles and congratulations along the way from Cast Members and fellow Guests. As you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., pop into
Plaza Point, just before Plaza Inn, to create a personalized ornament as a keepsake. My husband and I personalized our very first ornament with our wedding date, and it's since become a tradition for us to add one each year we visit.
For a romantic dining experience, make a reservation at one of the parks or resort hotel restaurants! One of my favorites is
Carthay Circle Lounge. Their alfresco menu is perfect for two, and I highly recommend saving room for the S'mores Sundae. It's one of the best that I've had in a while! If you'd like to take your celebration up a notch, you can also
pre-order a celebration cake to be delivered directly to your table at select table-service restaurants.
Another fun option to consider is creating a
honeymoon registry through Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. You can build a custom registry filled with romantic, adventurous, and relaxing experiences. For a Disneyland honeymoon, registry items can include entertainment, accommodations, and even dining. Browsing a
sample registry is a great way to get inspired and dream up ways to enhance your celebration.
Jennifer, thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I hope this helps as you plan your very magical visit. If any other questions come up along the way, please don't hesitate to visit us again at planDisney!
