Welcome to planDisney, Maria! It looks like your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up next month; you're visiting at a great time to
celebrate summer at the parks! With some exciting new entertainment offerings and attractions, I know you're going to have an amazing time!
Currently,
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets are not offered to the general public for partial day admission. If you are attending a conference or other special event, there could be an option for partial day tickets directly through your event organizer, however, so I would encourage reaching out to them if that applies to you.
Maria, this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, but I've got a few ideas that might help you find a ticket option that would work for you! Currently, there are some money-saving ticket options currently available, including a
3-Day 3-Park Ticket and a
4-Day 4-Park Ticket that offer a savings from the standard ticket admission cost.
If your schedule will only allow later entry to the parks, another option that might interest you is to look into the
Special Events that will be offered during your visit. With your arrival date of August 5, there is an
After Hours Event at Disney's Hollywood Studios on August 7 that might be an option. With this ticketed event, Guests can enter the park starting at 7 PM and stay after hours until 12:30 AM, enjoying shorter wait times for popular attractions, lighter crowds, and complimentary snacks, ice cream treats, and bottled beverages included with your admission ticket! Also starting the week of your visit is the first
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, scheduled for August 9. This ticketed event offers Halloween entertainment alongside admission to Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 PM on the event date, and the event lasts until midnight.
You can also always plan to spend some time at
Disney Springs in the evenings; with so many shopping and dining options, it's a great location to feel the magic of Disney, no ticket required! If you do visit, be sure to stick around and view the limited-time
Disney Dreams That Soar droid show! I saw it last month and was amazed at the technology and creativity of it! Currently there are two shows each night, at 9 PM and again at 10:45 PM.
Maria, I hope this helps you to find an option to enjoy the parks in the time you will have! If we can help with any other questions, come on back and let us know!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
