Hi there Kathy and welcome to planDisney!
You're so right about all of the changes taking place at the
Walt Disney World Resort. I feel like every trip is a totally different experience. But as our favorite imaginary friend,
Figment, always says, "It's about listening with your imagination!"I'm always keeping my ear to the ground for new Disney info to make my trips more magical. While Disney has stopped sending out DVDs there are still a number of ways to keep up with what's new at The House of Mouse.
1.
Disney Parks Blog. If you want your finger on the pulse of what's going on, you have to check out the best blog ever. I've gotten the news of the
new 50th Anniversary Merchandise, word on the
return of Character Greetings, and the dates for the
2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. And I just learned all of that at a glance today!
2.
The My Disney Experience Mobile App. Not only is it a great place to have your Disney vacation all organized in the palm of your hand. It's also a wealth of information. Just looking at my home screen on the app I can see info on new rides like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, a beautiful promo video for
Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney, and an update on
Live Entertainment that's either made or will be making its way into the Disney Parks. I'm telling you don't miss out.
Kathy, even without that DVD, you can still find all the latest news on what's going on at
The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Come back to planDisney for any other questions. We're a pretty great resource too!
Happy planning!
Taylor
