Do you offer a discount for foster families

    Hi Lisa,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing your vacation planning question for your special family to us! Before we get started, please allow me to share a word of gratitude with you for being a foster parent and making the world an easier and brighter place for children in need of extra love and support. You are creating a more magical world every day and your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation will create memories of a lifetime!

While there are no discounts specifically for foster families, there are several ways you can take advantage of special offers and discounts at Walt Disney World Resort so let’s see if we can work some magic!

I see you are arriving in April so you may already have your Resort hotel reservations, but keep an eye out on the Special Offers, Deals & Discount page for special offers that may pop up as they are routinely updated. On that page, when you select a special offer, you will notice “Have an Existing Reservation?” on the right-hand side of the page which will guide you through possibly applying the special offer to your reservation. If you do see a special offer applicable to your vacation dates, I encourage you to act quickly because the offers are usually limited.

Lisa, I have a few other tips to help you maximize your vacation funds! First, children under 3 do not require a theme park ticket, and theme park tickets for children ages 3-9 cost less than tickets for ages 10 and up.  Additionally, children under 3 eat free at any all-you-care-to-enjoy dining locations, including Character Dining, which I hope is magical news for your family! Our family loves Character Dining, even now that we are all young-at-heart adults. Also, if you are a Disney Visa Cardmember be sure to take advantage of the many dining and shopping discounts and photo opportunities available to you, and don’t forget to redeem your Reward Dollars prior to your vacation.

I hope this has been helpful to you, Lisa. Walt Disney World Resort vacations with Younger Children or Tweens and Teens are extra special, and I know that you and your family will make the most of it! If you have any other planning questions, please feel free to reach back out to us here at planDisney, we are happy to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
