When you are visiting Walt Disney World, the
Rider Switch is available for parties with someone who may not want to ride an attraction or who hasn't reached the height requirement so that the others in the group can still enjoy it. Essentially, it works by first checking with a cast member at the attraction if the Rider Switch is offered. If it is, everyone who wants to ride the attraction will do so while one adult waits with the non-rider. Those waiting will be issued a Ride Switch entitlement and asked to wait in a designated area. After riding the attraction, the waiting adult can then ride while the others who first rode stay with the non-rider. The person who had waited with the non-rider will be able to enter the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue. Also, if the person waited alone with the non-rider, one more guest may join to ride again!
