Do you offer a band that locates your child should they lose you in the parks? Thanks Jenny

    Hi there Jenny!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm delighted you have already started planning your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. The Disneyland Resort is full of surprises around every corner. Little ones may be easily distracted when they see something new and exciting or spot their favorite Character in the distance. I must say I sometimes have the fear that my toddler might wander off with so much fun around us. While there is not a band that will locate lost children, Disneyland Resort Cast Members are always on the lookout for children that may become separated with their parents. If a child is lost, they will be escorted to the Baby Care Center at either park.

If your children are old enough to talk and understand the situation, it will help to communicate a plan or meeting spot with them at the start of the day if you get separated. You can also let them know how to locate a cast member with their iconic name tags as soon as they feel lost or scared. One good tip is to also take a picture of your children at the beginning of the day so you know exactly what they are wearing. You can show the photo to Cast Members if you need help locating them. For younger or non-verbal children, it may help to put an identification bracelet with your phone number if lost. Some families also like to wear matching clothing to be reunited easier as well.

I hope these tips help reassure you that you'll have a magical time on your vacation no matter what. Have a Fantasmic day!
