Can you offer any advice for Annual Passholders trying to decide between deluxe dining (may book free dining & upgrade to deluxe) and TIW card. Have been happy with deluxe in past, but just got AP. 40th B-Day celebration. Will book several signature re

    Hi Christian,

The Tables In Wonderland (TIW) card is a fabulous perk available to Annual Passholders!  The thing to keep in mind is that these cards are good for one full year.  Therefore, if you plan to visit Walt Disney World more than once in a year's time, you'll probably find that this card will pay for itself very quickly.  It's also very cost effective if you are traveling as part of a large group or if you plan to order alcoholic beverages with most meals.  The TIW discount does apply to alcoholic beverages.  The Disney Dining Plan does not cover these.

If, however, your birthday trip is the only trip you plan to make over the course of twelve months, I'd be inclined to think that the upgraded free dining offer will be more cost effective.

Whichever you decide, have an amazing 40th birthday celebration at Walt Disney World.  I celebrated my 40th birthday there too so I can attest firsthand that it is the best place in the world to mark this important milestone.  Have a blast!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
