Hiya, Kaci, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s a Small World, after all, and I’m glad you’re hEAR again with us! I’ve visited Walt Disney World during nearly every time of the year and there are certainly times that are busier than others!
Die-hard park-goers may tell you that there’s never an off season, since Disney does such a fabulous job of offering seasonal magic like
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (BOO to YOU!), Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Epcot’s Festival of the Arts, Food & Wine and
Flower & Garden Festival. There’s always something to do! I check Undercover Tourist’s Crowd Calendar (you can Google that) to see what crowds will be like. You can see potential crowd levels and which parks are best to visit on any given day. I have personally seen more manageable crowds the first week of May as well as middle to late September. There’s a lot of fun to be had during those 2 times, so fly like Peter Pan to your calendar and schedule a vacation faster than Lightning McQueen. KA-CHOW! Even during low crowds, you’ll find the attractions in operation, save some like Stitch’s Great Escape, which is now in seasonal operation for high crowd volumes, but my son never liked getting jumped on by Experiment 626 anyway!
Whenever you choose to visit, I just know you’ll be picking
park tickets and
resorts that are a “practically perfect” fit for you, just like Mary Poppins. Now spit spot, and off you go to dream what magic awaits! ~ Lindsey P.
