We are off Disney property. Have 6:30 pm dinner reserv. @1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridi/Character Dining. Can we drive to the GF in the AM and leave the car there and take the monorail to MK for the day? What are the parking fees?

Unfortunately, Lisa, the only guests eligible for that kind of all-day parking are registered guests of the Grand Floridian.  Guests who visit the Grand Floridian for meals are permitted to park there, but only for a limited time.  My suggested solution to your parking dilemma is to drive to the Magic Kingdom on the morning of your visit and pay to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center (the parking lot for Magic Kingdom day guests).  Currently, the daily rate for an automobile is $14.00.  After your day at the Magic Kingdom, head back to the Ticket and Transportation Center via monorail or ferry to retrieve your car.  Drive from the Ticket and Transportation Center to the Grand Floridian.  You will be permitted to park your car there (for free) while you dine at 1900 Park Fare.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
