Ahoy there, Nina and welcome aboard planDisney!
Ah, the placeholder - legend has it that before its discovery, nobody ever took multiple cruises...what a sad state of affairs...Of course, that's a load of bluster, but the placeholder reservations do make it much easier to leave plans open-ended as the sea for your next Disney Cruise Line adventure!
I wish I had better news, Nina, but unfortunately, placeholders are only available to book while aboard, so that ship has sailed...and now I feel extra bad for using that terrible pun...
But don't despair! While you won't be able to save 10% on prevailing rates booking from shore, I definitely suggest sailing over to the
Special Offers page as frequently as you can! My family and I love to lurk in the water around that page to pounce on a great deal if we are eligible, as these offers often...er...offer...even more savings than a placeholder - if you qualify for the discounts! Right now, there are
offers with special rates on select sailings and a special
Disney+ Subscriber offer that may be able to take you from low tide to high tide!
Obviously, you'll want to review the details, but if you're able to make one of these itineraries work, you and your crew will be casting off in no time! If none of these dates or offers will work with your crew's schedules, definitely sail back frequently as offers are subject to change just as quickly as Pluto can chase Chip and Dale!
I hope that gives your spirits a bit of a lift and puts the wind back in your sails, Nina! Thank you for your question, and if you have any others, please drop a message in a bottle my way anytime here at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
Andrew
