What are the odds / probability of being called up for chef Mickey if I use the call list. I can’t make reservations because it’s full. Thank you in advance

Hi Reem! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

Oh boy! Only a few weeks away until you arrive onsite at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm sure the excitement level is at an all-time high in your household! With all the new attractions and experiences that have recently debuted at the Walt Disney World Resort, there is plenty to keep you busy for the duration of your stay!

Dining is always at the top of the list for me when it comes to a Walt Disney World trip! With countless restaurants and styles of cuisine to choose from, you cannot go wrong with any choice. Being able to dine with your favorite characters is the icing on the cake! Chef Mickey's is one of my favorite character dining experiences to choose from. Not only do you get a chance to interact with Mickey and his pals, but you also have a delicious variety of food options.

Reem, while I don't know what your chances will be of joining the walk-up list for Chef Mickey's during your stay, I will say that the walk-up list was created for a reason. Many Guests have had the great fortune of being able to join the list and get a table since this new system was implemented. You will need to be close to the restaurant in order to join the list, so there will be a risk of heading over to the restaurant without certainty of getting a table. There are other dining options at Disney's Contemporary Resort, along with a host of other restaurants along the monorail line that you can quickly get to if this option does not work out.

Since your visit is still a few weeks away, there is still time to continue checking for Advanced Dining Reservations for this date. I would suggest checking periodically when you have time to try and snag a spot. One of the best times to check is the day before you plan to eat there. Guests have up to 24 hours before their reservation time to cancel without penalty. Many times Guests will drop their reservations at that time and an influx of new reservations will appear.

I hope this information helps you during your upcoming visit, Reem! I hope some pixie dust flies your way and you are dining with Mickey and Minnie in the near future!

    See ya real soon!
