Hi Nicole!
As a fellow Canadian, fellow Ontarian in fact, and a frequent Walt Disney World visitor, I'm happy to assist you with your great question!
Temperatures in October are generally much warmer than our typical Ontario October for sure. You can expect it to be averaging in the low to mid 20's
(celsius of course!) during the day time - and even as high as the high 20's. In the evenings, it definitely does cool off, but not as much as it does here at the same time of year. Evening and nighttime lows are generally in the high-teens, sometimes even staying in the low 20's.
Of course, mother nature tends to often change her mind on these types of things, so it's certainly a good idea to be 'prepared' by bringing a light, extra layer in your day bag, especially for those in the family who may be prone to easily feeling chilly. Chances are good that you'll be fine with your costumes alone!
The other great news is that October is generally not a very rainy month, so you don't need to worry much about rain!
I hope you're planning to be wearing your costumes to visit Magic Kingdom one evening for one of the scheduled
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party celebrations! If you haven't already done so, be sure to purchase your tickets in advance for the evening that works best for you during your Magical vacation!
Thanks for choosing to visit the Moms Panel with your question Nicole! I hope you'll visit me again soon for more tips or recommendations to make your family's time at Walt Disney World just the most
spooktacular time ever!
