I have an odd question about the Cabins at Ft Wilderness. We have 6 people going. My daughter and son-in-law will be using the murphey bed in the LR. Is there is a way to make it more private for them (ex. curtain/fabric to hang across the open area)?

    Hi Kelly,

Your question is not odd!  We on the Disney Parks Moms Panel are here to help you plan your magical vacation, and we are happy to help!

My family and I just stayed at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort this past spring.  I absolutely love the convenience of having our own full kitchen, a place right next to our cabin to park our car, and a charcoal grill just for us.  Also the ability to sleep up to six adults in one accommodation is wonderful.

There is not a curtain or fabric around the Murphy bed in the living area of the cabins.  There is a door on the bedroom, so by closing that, it makes for two separate and private sleeping spaces: four people in the bedroom, and two people in the living area.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kelly.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
