Odd question to ask but I have trouble sleeping on my back (beds are a problem if in them for long periods of time). Will be staying at AOA. Are there any reclining type chairs available or anything where I could sleep in a reclining/sitting position?

    Hi, Vicki!

A good night's sleep is so important, especially after a busy day in the parks.

There are no recliners in any of the rooms at Art of Animation, but here are a few ideas if you are in a suite:
-Request extra pillows.  Perhaps you can prop yourself into a comfortable position.
-There is a sofa that turns into a pull-out bed.  Maybe you can keep it as a sofa so you can sleep in more of a sitting position.  Prop your feet up on a chair to give your tired feet a rest!
-Try using the pull-out bed on the sofa.  With the cushioned back (which becomes a headboard on the bed) this might do the trick for you.

If you are in a Standard Little Mermaid Room, you will only have regular beds so you might want to go with the extra pillows to create a cozy sleeping spot.

I hope you can find a comfortable spot so you can get some sleep and dream of magical pixie dust.  Good luck!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
