Boo to you, Chris!
The grim grinning ghosts can't wait to socialize with you at Walt Disney World Resort next month. Just last week I was rubbing elbows with hitchhiking ghosts at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom Park. They tried to catch a ride to Main Street, U.S.A., for Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, but my Doom Buggy was already full.
My best tip for experiencing Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is to experience the second parade, which takes place after Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. After the fireworks, head to the area by the train station in the front of the park, facing Cinderella Castle. For the 11:15 p.m. parade, hype-man Goof Max as Powerline reaches the train station at 11:30 p.m. The first official float of the parade arrives at approximately 11:42 p.m. and the last float passes by at 11:57 p.m., giving you tons of photo opportunities and a convenient exit route.
Guests attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party receive reusable treat bags with a 50th Anniversary theme, perfect for collecting complimentary trick-or-treating candy throughout Magic Kingdom Park. I still have some Snickers and Starbursts left, but the Caramel M&M's are long gone! All other snacks and beverages are available for a charge, which is a change from last year's Disney After Hours Boo Bash. At the end of the party, head for the center exits to receive your 12x9 inch commemorative print, which captures the mood and colors of this special event boo-tifully.
Hurry back to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Your Ghost Host,
Jennifer
