    Going in October wondering if MNSSP is worth it for a 5 yr old? What is special about it? Are there any hayrides or halloween events anywhere else at DW? Any information will be appreciated!

    Hi Craig!

    Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite hard ticketed event at Walt Disney World. It is a fantastic event with a special parade, fireworks show, and of course trick or treating!  I love it!

    However, it may not be the best for a young child. The party runs from 7 pm to midnight and you really need to plan to be in the park and awake until at least 10 pm to enjoy it. Otherwise it is a really expensive event for an hour or two.

    Unfortuately, there are not a lot of Halloween based activities beyond that. There are carriage and hay rides at the usual places (Fort Wilderness and Port Orleans for example) but that is about it.
