October 1st week, we are not attending the Mickeys Not So Scarry Halloween party, so should i avoid MK on the 4th? Do you feel MK is more crowded on the Halloween Party days? Thanks!

    Hi there Cynthia.

What an excellent question you've asked about the impact of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on crowd levels earlier in the day. And I've got some great news for you! Since this special event requires a separate ticket and is not part of Magic Your Way admission, the number of park guests prior to the party starting will not be impacted much at all. You may notice a slight increase in attendance levels starting at around 4pm, as party-goers are typically permitted to enter up to 3 hours before the excitement kicks off at 7pm. It can really be a lot of fun to watch new guests arriving in their costumes- as both children AND adults are encouraged to dress up!

One thing to keep in mind however, if you aren't holding a party ticket the Magic Kingdom Park will be closing for general admission guests at 7pm on the not-so-scary evenings.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
