In October 2017 when we will be visiting WDW, we are staying in AKL and are considering Simbas Clubhouse. The age starts at 3, our daughter will be turning 3 about 8 weeks before our trip. How strict are they with the age limit? Is there any leniency?

    Hi Diane,

It is great to see you are thinking ahead in your planning process. The fall is a great time to visit Walt Disney World and I think you will have an amazing time. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a fantastic choice that I think your family will love.

My husband and I have such an amazing time with our children making family memories at Walt Disney World. However, once and awhile it is nice to have an evening to ourselves to either play in the parks sans kids or enjoy a lovely and relaxing dinner with each other. The children's activity centers, such as Simba's Clubhouse, offer the perfect opportunity for everyone in the family to have a great time. You are correct, the age limit is 3-12 years of age. So yes, as long as your daughter has just turned three prior to your trip, and she is potty-trained, you are all set. Our daughter was almost 4 on her first time to one of the children's activity centers and loved every minute. The cast members are wonderful with engaging the kids from the moment they walk through the door. There are crafts, games, movies and more to keep her occupied. My kids did not want to leave, which is always an indicator of the fun that was had.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question and do not hesitate to come back with more questions as your planning continues.
