On October 29th do I schedule the Candlelight Dinner package at my dining reservations sight? I will be staying at the DVC Riviera.

Welcome Home, Carl! Thanks so much for making a return trip to planDisney - it's great to see you again! It's always a treat to help out a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, and I'm happy to walk you through the steps to snag a reservation for this year's Candlelight Processional at EPCOT

The Candlelight Processional is a beloved holiday tradition at Walt Disney World Resort. Part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, the Processional features a beautiful choir and orchestra performing with a celebrity narrator. It is a not-to-be-missed event if you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the holiday season! The festival brings large crowds to the park, so I definitely recommend taking the Disney Skyliner from Disney's Riviera Resort for a peaceful and convenient ride to EPCOT!

Carl, to book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package and ensure guaranteed seating for the Processional itself, you will reserve through the regular Walt Disney World dining reservations site. Booking opens for the dining packages on October 29, as you noted, so be sure to set an alarm that morning so you can pounce on a reservation! There are a number of excellent EPCOT restaurants to choose from, and it's always nice to have a sit-down meal during a busy Disney day so you can relax and refuel.

I did take a peek at the Member Benefits section of the DVC website, and currently, there are no available discounts showing for the dining package. You can always check back as this site is updated regularly - it's a great resource that captures all of the available offers in one spot.

Wishing you a wonderful December vacation, Carl! It really is such a special time to visit Walt Disney World. Thank you again for stopping by planDisney, and please reach out again anytime if we can help with additional questions.

    Stay Magical!
