Hiya, Michelle!
Welcome to planDisney! Hip, hip, hooray! Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short weeks away. And it sounds as if you have quite an exciting adventure planned. Disney's
Dolphins in Depth is sure to be an experience where you will create a lifetime of magical memories. Traditionally this encounter would include a photo taken by a Cast Member, prior to its closure. I reached out to a few friendly Cast Members today to inquire about the return of this splashtastic
Enchanting Extra. Here is what they were able to share about photography during this experience.
Guests can take photos in all areas of the tour that are not backstage (in fact, they are encouraged!). Once you head backstage to interact with the dolphins, no cameras or cell phones will be permitted. Unfortunately, Cast Members were unable to confirm at this time if the photos that were previously a part of this experience will be taken. My personal recommendation would be to
check with the Tours, Recreation team by phone once Dolphins in Depth officially reopens on October 2nd. I am so sorry that I am unable to confirm if a Cast Member will still be taking photos for your crew. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for pixie dust, and that the photos are once again a part of this magical encounter.
Michelle, if you plan on using Memory Maker during your stay and have not already purchased this fabulous PhotoPass product, I recommend adding it to your vacation package before you arrive.
Advanced purchase of Memory Maker comes at a discounted price, which can be a great way to save a little extra during your vacation.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
