Hi. We are going in October for Not So Scary Halloween. I keep hearing about Fill Your Own Mr. Potato Head and My Little Pony boxes. Are these still available? Do you know the cost of the potato if you choose to buy it separate from the box?

    Hi Matthew,

This is a fun question to answer.  My daughter is a high Mr. Potato Head fan and I usually have a hard time getting her to leave once she starts picking out pieces to add to her box.  There are SO many to choose from and many are uniquely themed to Disney and are exclusively available at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney.

The "fill your own" cardboard box filled to the brim is $20.00 while the hard plastic Mr. Potato Head storage box is $50.00.  As you've probably figured out, it is much more cost effective to purchase the "blank" potato itself separately from the box, as it will take up too much precious space.  The potato itself can be purchased at Once Upon a Toy for around $7 but they are also sold for a few dollars less at your local Target or Walmart.

Hope this helps, and Happy Box Filling!!!
