In October, my family (wife, me, 8y - 5y boys) will be staying 13 days at Disney, 7 d. in the Wilderness Lodge and 6 days in the Coronado. If I buy a 7-day Dining plan, can use during the entire stay or it will expire when I check out at the 1st hotel?

    Nelson:

Your dining plan and credits expire at midnight on the day you check out.  So, for example, if you have the dining plan for your 7-day stay at Wilderness Lodge, you won't be able to reserve meal credits to use during your 6-day stay at Coronado. However, you may want to consider on the day you check out of Wilderness Lodge and move over to Coronado, using your credits, say in the Pepper Market Food Court at Coronado, for dinner because you'll have access to them until they expire at midnight.

With all that said, there are also counter service restaurants in the theme parks where you can purchase a boxed meal out of a refrigerated case that will actually keep quite nicely for a day or two in your room's refrigerator at Coronado.  Sunshine Seasons at Epcot is one of my favorites for grabbing a turkey wrap or kid's pbj to go, and I've even been known to snag a sushi box along with bottled chocolate milk as I leave the park!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
