This October will be my families first trip to Disney. We have 1 son who will be 10. I want to do some character dining with him, but I am not sure what anyone recommends for a 10 year old boy. He loves all things Disney.

Welcome Kasey, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I just love Character Dining Experiences! It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet our favorite Disney Characters. A memory that will last a lifetime.
There are many wonderful experiences, but Chef Mickey’s is absolutely my first option. This happy place is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It is the best way to start off your magical day. While you have a delicious breakfast, Mickey Mouse and some of his pals will visit your table for photos and autographs. A great experience for any age range.
Another very good option would be Tusker House restaurant, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort. While you dine, you will have a fabulous encounter with Donald Duck and some of his friends for photos. They will be wearing their cute safari outfits.
If you want to make him a pleasant surprise, you could order a special birthday cake to be delivered to the restaurant of your preference. I am sure he will have a blast!
Don’t hesitate to come back again if you have further questions.
    Have a magical day!
