is October a busy time to cruise? we are planning to go for my daughters birthday. but i see they do a Halloween special, so I was thinking another time might be less crowded

    Ahoy Carissa –
We are so happy that you cruised by for a visit here with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If you ask me - ANY TIME IS A GREAT TIME FOR A CRUISE! But I totally get your wanting to find the perfect time for your family. My family almost always chooses to cruise in the fall with Disney Cruise Line, and we have also sailed during the October months as well. Some of the reasons we pick October and November to sail is to primarily save money because pricing is often better. We enjoy the weather in the Bahamas around that time and we like that crowds are relatively low. I think our cruises in October have been fun for the kids with Halloween celebrations, and since your daughter will be celebrating a birthday, it will be even more special for your crew. We have never been bothered with crowding during the Halloween cruises, and I think your crew will feel comfortable onboard. Carissa, whatever you choose, I know that your time with Disney Cruise Line will be a blast!
