Hi Bobbi,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's great to see you with another question on your Walt Disney World vacationing planning. Each of us at Disney Parks Moms Panel is here for you and always happy to help.
Bobbi, you're asking two great questions about
the new online vacation-planning destination coming to DisneyWorld.com. A number of questions about the new process are addressed with the
Walt Disney World Resort Ticket Updates.
Your first specific question — how do Guests add more theme park days to tickets already purchased? — is one for which I don't yet have detailed information. I'm really curious myself to learn how that will work, and I'm looking forward to checking out the new vacation planning destination. The best suggestion I have is to look to
Disney Parks Blog as more information about the new vacation planning destination becomes available.
I'm happy to share what I hope will be some helpful information on your second question — do Guests have to visit a specific theme park on a specific day? With the new date-based ticketing, you'll have some limited flexibility in when you use your multi-day theme park tickets based on the number of days you purchase. As examples, a 3-day multi-day ticket is valid for any 3 days within 5 days beginning on the start date, and a 6-day multi-day ticket is valid for any 6 days within 9 days beginning on the start date. I think this gives you the flexibility you're looking for to visit a water park on a hot day between theme park visits.
Bobbi, here's wishing you a magical Walt Disney World stay!
Jerry
