When will the Oct 2026 tickets go on sale ? Also if i add lighting lane on the tickets it’s $68 dollars is that for two day s ?

Greetings, Carl, and welcome to planDisney! October is a fun month to visit the Disneyland Resort – Halloween Time will be in full swing. I love that you're planning ahead.

When purchasing your theme park tickets on the Disneyland website, you'll make your theme park reservations as part of the transaction. The dates typically go out as far as 180 days (around six months). So, you should be able to select October dates in April.

Remember that you can adjust the dates of your theme park reservations in advance, subject to availability. If your plans change, Hakuna Matata– you can update your reservation dates either on the Disneyland website or the mobile app.

It's great that you're thinking of getting the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. When you purchase theme park tickets on the Disneyland website, you'll have the opportunity to add on the multi pass. It's the step after selecting your reservation dates and park. When purchased this way, the multi pass would cover each theme park day on your ticket. So if the ticket in your cart is a two-day ticket, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass would be for both days, and the price would reflect that.

Let's say you want to get the multi pass for only one day of your visit. In that case, you'd buy it the day of your visit in the mobile app after entering the theme park. Just be aware that the cost to purchase upon arrival may be higher than if you buy in advance, and there's a chance it could sell out, especially on a busy day.

If you want to maximize the Halloween fun, consider getting a ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash, a separately ticketed after-hours event. Dates for 2026 were recently announced on the Disney Parks Blog. There will be themed entertainment, treat trails, rare Character appearances, and more. Guests can wear costumes to this special after-hours event (within the guidelines, of course), and the wait times for attractions are typically shorter since the number of Guests in the park is limited. In 2025, tickets went on sale around June.

Carl, happy haunts await you at the Disneyland Resort for your October 2026 visit. Please reach out if you think of any other questions as you continue planning. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
