At oct 12 my son turn to a magic 9 years old, do you “park” provaide any extra surprise for im?

Well hello and welcome to planDisney, Rui. Thanks for bringing all of your wonderful questions to us. We're so excited to hear that you will be arriving at the Disneyland Resort for your magical stay soon. And it sounds like there is plenty to celebrate during your visit.

Oh boy! How lucky for your son to be celebrating his 9th birthday at the Disneyland Resort. It's going to be so magical and one that he, no doubt, will always remember. There are lots of ways that you can celebrate your son throughout your day in the theme parks. You can stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday!" button. I bet he'll get a kick out of wearing this and having Cast Members wish him a happy birthday all day long.

Aside from the complimentary button that you can pick up at the theme parks, there aren't any additional complimentary birthday perks, but there's plenty that you can do to make your day extra special. At select restaurants, you can request a fun (and delicious) Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to make your meal extra special. Something to keep in mind, there is an added cost for this cake. Same-day cake requests must be made in person upon arrival at the participating restaurant and are limited in availability.

You can find a pair of celebratory birthday ears for your son to wear during your visit and even have his name embroidered on them at select shops. I then suggest taking a ride on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, where you will find Pooh's birthday being celebrated in the last scene, but it will definitely feel like they are celebrating your son!

Well, Rui, I hope I've given you a good start on some ideas for celebrating your son's birthday during your visit. Come back to see us with any other questions we can help with. Here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and a very happy birthday to your son!
