Hi Veronica! Welcome to
planDisney! I LOVE answering questions about
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is, without a doubt, my favorite event of the entire year, and you're visiting during such a fun window.
While the
Disney Parks Blog hasn't officially released the party dates just yet, I can say with a very high level of confidence that there will be a party on October 31. Halloween night is one of the most iconic party dates, so it has always been included in the past.
If you're not planning on attending the party, I would actually recommend avoiding
Magic Kingdom on October 31. The park typically closes early to regular day Guests on party nights, so that would leave you with less time to enjoy the magic.
Instead, that is a perfect day to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can still keep the spooky vibes going by catching the
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After! show, which is such a fun way to celebrate the Halloween season without being inside Magic Kingdom. It's a great balance of festive and relaxed.
As for your Magic Kingdom day, my biggest tip is to plan it on a day when there is no Halloween party scheduled. Those non-party days have longer park hours and allow you to enjoy the nighttime spectacular without needing a separate ticket. The only tricky part right now is that without the official party calendar, it's a bit of a guessing game.
Because of that, I strongly recommend waiting until Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates are officially released before locking in your park days. Once that schedule is out, you'll be able to clearly see which days are party nights and which aren't, and you can plan your Magic Kingdom visit much more strategically.
Veronica, you're going at one of the most magical times of the year. With a little timing and planning, your trip is going to feel perfectly festive from start to finish.
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
