In Oct my husband and I are taking our 23 month old son to WDW. As of right now are son is tall for his age and trending by October should be 40 in tall. Do you think the rides throughout the parks should be considered. Since he will still be so young?

    Hi Andrea!

Wow, that is a tall boy!  My son (3) just became 40 inches and is so excited that he gets to ride the "big boy" rides.  It is up to you if you want to take him on those rides.  If you think he will enjoy them, then by all means go right ahead!  My son got a little scared his first time on Stitch's Great Escape, but really enjoyed it the second time around.  With Splash Mountain, you have to consider the drop and if it will scare your son or not.  Most of the rides that you have to be at least 40" for are for older children (and adults) as far as darkness, drops and overall tones.  You can explain to him what the ride is about first and let him decide.

    Have a magical day!
