Ahoy there, Kelly!
Welcome aboard planDisney! A Halloween on the High Seas sailing on
the Disney Dream is about as spooktacular as it gets, and October sailings always feel like they come straight out of The Nightmare Before Christmas, where every day brings a new surprise and just a hint of mischief in the air. It just so happens that the current theme night schedule was recently updated for your cruise, so let’s open the spell book and take a look.
Based on the current schedule, here’s what’s in the cauldron for your 7-night ghoulish adventure:
• Day 2 (Lookout Cay) –
Halloween on the High Seas with Mickey’s Mouse-querade Deck Party
• Day 3 (At Sea) – Formal Night
• Day 4 (San Juan) –
Pirate Night• Day 6 (At Sea) – Semi-Formal Night
That lineup gives you a nice mix of spooky fun, swashbuckling excitement, and chances to dress up like royalty from your favorite fairy tale… or maybe like a certain pumpkin king if you’re feeling extra festive.
Since the entertainment schedule is always subject to change, I recommend flying your broom straight into the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi to confirm the final times and locations for all those must-do activities and entertainment. That app becomes your enchanted map for the sailing, guiding you to everything from deck parties to character sightings faster than you can say “double, double, toil and trouble.”
For your specific
dining rotation schedule, you will be able to view your rotation once you are at the cruise terminal and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi. It’s like a giant puzzle for the dining team, and it usually isn’t finalized until embarkation day so they can account for last-minute changes, dining requests, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps things running smoothly.
If you’re looking to
book an evening at Palo or Remy but don’t want to miss a specific dining room, I recommend
giving Disney Cruise Line a call once you have booked and requesting that you do not dine in, say, Animator's Palate (or whichever one you’re most excited about) on the night you plan to visit Palo or Remy. Just keep in mind that it is a request and not guaranteed, but much like the Sanderson sisters trying to work a little magic, they will do their best to make it happen when they can.
I hope this helps you get ready for a frightfully fun
voyage filled with costumes, themed nights, and plenty of magical surprises along the way. Halloween sailings always seem to bring an extra layer of fun, and planning ahead makes it easier to enjoy every ghostly gathering and themed celebration.
Sea ya real soon as springtime magic carries us from one adventure to the next,
Dustin
